Josh's first bike packing trip was through Vietnam and Laos some 10 years ago and has been hooked ever since. He has toured far and wide and taken part in ultra-races including the Transcontinental and Silk Road Mountain Race. He loves the amount of mini-adventures that can be compressed into a very small amount of time and combines his passion for writing and photography to try and tell some of these stories from the trails.

Silk Road Mountain Race 2023
Kyrgystan offers one of the wildest and most inhospitable environments for a bikepacking race with its often harsh and unpredictable mountain weather, contrasted with the warmth of the local hospitality. The Silk Road truly is one of the pearls of the mountain bikepacking calendar.

Transcontinental Race No9
Considered by many as the halo event of the season, the TCR has been the inspiration for much of the European calendar and its influence on the sport it hard to overstate. Pegged as one of the shortest but hilliest editions of the TCR, No9 is sure to be another jewel in the crown of the dotwatching calendar.
