Linda Farczadi

Name: Linda Farczadi

Age: 37

Cap number: 33

Location: Lausanne, Switzerland

Bike: My ride is an Open Min.D – a pure distillation of performance and minimalist design.

The drivetrain is a Shimano Dura-Ace setup – every shift is a crisp, clean note in the symphony of my rides. Clad in Continental GP5000 tires, 30mm thick, my wheels strike a perfect balance between resilience and agility.

When the sun dips below the horizon, my Exposure lights emerge as beacons, guiding me through the dimming light.

Aerobars provide a haven from headwinds, a blend of comfort and efficiency when the miles stretch out ahead.

Key items of kit: Visibility triangle from Blue Log Tokyo purchased at the end of the Japanese Odyssey.

Key items of kit: I'll go with the Restrap Saddle Bag 7l and Top Tube Bag 1,5l as well as the Apidura Frame bag 1l. And maybe this was the hardest part...finding good fitting bags that have enough space for an extra small Bike. So for sleeping I only bring my Sea to Summit Tr 1 and hope the ground is comfy enough for a couple of hours sleep ;-)

Navigation: Wahoo Element Bolt Good Mood: JBL Wave Flex For the food: Apidura Musette Warmth: GORE Leg warmers, Castelli Polartec Jacket, Gloves, a thin vest for windy days Charging: Anker 20000mAh Powercore And for Sure I also bring spare tubes, a small pump and all that stuff I hopefully won't need :-) It's my first time to participate in such an event so please let the wind blow in the right direction and the gummy bear pouch be always full :)

Age: 39

Cap number: 43

Location: Lausanne

Bike: My Open Min.D, resplendent with its Zipp 303 Firecrest wheels and Shimano Dura-Ace 12-speed, is top-notch, no doubt. But let's face it, sometimes I wonder if this stellar setup is overcompensating for my less-than-stellar legs and my knack for bad luck. It's like bringing a race car to a go-kart track – the equipment's ready to go, but the driver? Maybe not so much. The bike's all set for glory, and then there's me.
