Bike: I will be tackling Lakes‘n‘Knödel on my Rose Backroad FF gravelbike, running GC50 wheels wrapped in 45mm Schwalbe G-One RX tyres. I converted my 1x12 SRAM Force groupset into a mullet setup by shrinking to a 40t chainring in the front and switching to a huge 10-52t Eagle casette with an electronic GX direct mount deraileur in the back.

Key items of kit: I will be using a small set of bags from Cyclite for my luggage, with my clothes and the sleepsystem in the saddlebag, my electronics in the toptube bag and highcarb food in the framebag. Tools and spare parts are easily accessible in another separate bag. For storing light items as well as for additional water capacity I‘m wearing a USWE hydration vest. To turn night into day I have mounted a Lupine Nano lamp with a big battery pack on the bike and an additional headlamp on my helmet. A Coros Dura bike computer will show the way without having trouble with battery life.
