A race through the Land of a Thousand Hills demands a light and minimalist set up that will hold up against the weather curve balls the riders could face, with some unpaved roads thrown in to shake up the riding.

Bike: I'll be riding my Lauf Tru Grit with Hunt Carbon All Road wheels and WTB Byways in 44m. Groupset is SRAM Rival with a Shimano XT 11/40 cassette and a 38t Hope chainring. Rear mech has been upgraded with Mt Zoom alloy / ceramic jockey wheels that shift super smooth. Mt Zoom bolts also securely hold my King Ti cages. Saddle is a cheap and cheerful Bontrager Montrose... but it's very comfortable!
