Bike: My trusty race companion, a stainless steel Jaegher. I ride with 35mm tubeless slick tires for comfort and a 165mm 48/32 crankset with an 11-36 cassette.
Key items of kit: For this race I will have a lighter setup than normally. Just an Apidura framebag and saddlebag should be enough to fit all I need. The combination of my dynamo hub and integrated charging and light gives me a lot of flexibility and independency.

- Deeper (50mm) Giant SLR2 wheels
- Continental GP5000 S TR 30c tires (32c after putting them on a wider rim), tubeless

- Look Keo Carbon Ti pedals with ceramic bearings (they are light as f...!)
- Narrower, 40cm handlebars
Key items of kit: This will be my first ultra race in road shoes, so let's see how this turns out.
On my feet: Fizik Tempo Overcurve shoes
Mix of bikepacking gear:
- Apidura Racing Series top tube and frame bags
- Restrap Saddle bag
- two random handlebar feeding bags for nomnoms
To help me navigate through the night:
- Eyen Streak 1000 headlight + spare (surprisingly cheap and fault-proof!) and cheap, trusty rearlights
In the bags you will find:
- mix of clothes:
- Assos and Gobik bib shorts
- Siroko and Assos jerseys
- Raso winter jacket (let's hope it won't be freezing out there during the race!)
- Salewa Storm bivvy in case in need of emergency naps
- some hygiene stuff like awesome butterfly toothbrush (yaay to not cutting regular toothbrushes in half)
- tools that hopefully won't be needed (multitool, pump, spare tubes, etc...)
And last, but not least...
