My main lights are a dynamo powered BUMM IQ-X front light, a Lupine Rotlicht rear light and a Magicshine spare light with a large batterypack witch is also my spare powerbank. For a more relaxed cruising I carry a Garmin Varia radar/light. I am wearing my trusted Assos bib, a Sportful jersey for the warmer times and a Castelli Perfetto light for the chillier times. Gore Shakedry rain jacket, and Gore Windstopper arm and leg warmers, long gloves and a warm down jacket for wet and cold conditions. Wahoo Bolt V2 for navigation and my old smartphone as navigation backup and entertainment center during the ride, all powered by a dynamo USB-charger. My sleeping system is a light down sleeping bag and a UL inflatable mattress.

Bike: I'm riding a Colnago C64 with SRAM Red Etap groupset. My wheels are custom made by Lightwolf Studio Dresden with Enve Rims and a complete silent Onyx Vesper rear hub and a SON Dynamo hub for power supply in the front. The wheels are set up tubeless. For the night I've got a Lupine Piko in the front and a Lupine Rotlicht in the back. My saddle is a Gelu F.3.
Key items of kit: All bags I'm using, except for the Apidura saddle bag, I've made myself, that is a half frame bag, a small toptube bag and a food pouch. For shopping or carrying more stuff than fits on my bike, I've got a self made musette. Key items for me is my diabetic equipment containing insulin, needles for my insulin pen and a spare sensor for my blood sugar monitor. Besides the clothes I usually wear on my bike I've got a rain jacket, rain shorts, knee and arm warmers, a pair of waterproof socks and a down jacket which is more part of my sleep setup. Speaking of which, I plan to sleep in a self made bivy on a air mat and a liner. Hopefully the nights don't get to cold. For the rest I'm carrying a Leatherman as tool and knife, a pump, a powerbank to power my Karoo 2 and some spare parts.
