Bike: TREK PROCALIBER. I chose the fast rolling tyres Continental Raceking and mounted aerobars for extra hand positions for comfort. Decided not to change the gear ratio so I can tackle the climbs with no major hustle and will take a 32T chainring with 50-10 cassette. Bags are a mix: apidura 2l top tube bag for food;apidura 2l backcountry framebag for electronics, tools and toiletries; topeak saddle bag where I carry down jacket, rain jacket, bivy, air mattress, leg and arm warmers.
Key items of kit: Hard to say, but I would say I am very proud of my ultralight carbon powerbanks from nitecore and my ultralight and yet comfy klymit inertia x lite air mattress.

Key items of kit: I’ll be using Apidura Bags expedition (saddle, frame and aerobars - aerobar bag it’s a 3lt fork bag that Im used to set it as a aerobar bag). Top tube pack is a bolt on Racing series (easy to operate during the ride). On them ill take a 2nd kit, Rapha insulated Brevet Gilet, single vest to give that comfort during the night ride, Gore Shakedry just in case (great as wind stopper as well but it’s a jacket that pack so small i could not leave it at home), 2 pair of socks, toe cover, emergency blanket, toothbrush and paste, emergency medicine, food, tools and some spare parts, 20k powebank and multi usb c and micro usb cables to recharge gadgets and lights. As well I’ll be using Garmin 1040 solar and a 830 as backup or even for some reason need to take off the track, due some really remote places. I’ll be using 2x front lights Ravemen CR1000 (with remote control), 3x tail lights (BBB signal / Exposure Tracer / Ravemen Cl 06 for emergency) 1x Head Torch Blukar with sensor control and 2000l and 2 type of lights to be used during the night when it’s really needed. Due weather forecast (hot days) im going to have 3 650ml bottles and 1,5lt camelbak to ensure better hydration, although there are lots of fountains along the route but we never know when, how and if we can reach the next one. Im divided about the shoes ill be using, between a pair of Fizik Terra x4 shoes or Rockrider 900 mtb shoes. One of them will cleap on my pedals and hope they’ll be helpful if i have to hike a bike, because one thing i know! Both are really really comfortable. At last ill be using my Bivy bag - Ferrino Rider Pro to have some rest. C ya Pedalma/The Capitals Here i go!
