I've paired my 25 mm inner width Newmen MTB wheels with Conti Race King 2.2. Safy and comfy is my credo and I feel ready to tackle the worst parts in the Pyrenees !

Key items of kit: My favorite piece of kit is my Rogue Panda full frame bag. I'll carry water in it with a 3l bladder. Sleeping kit and clothes will go in my Ortlieb 11l seat bag. I'll use Battery powered lights with individual li-ion cells + 10 000 mah power bank. Garmin GPS. Plan to need at least one big stop in an hotel to recharge everything from li-ion cells to body cells. Sleep setup is composed of Borah bivy, inflatable sleeping pad. Depending on the weather forecast, I will either opt for a full sleeping bag or a small puffy jacket and a liner.
