Bike: I welded my frame by myself when I was 17. I wanted a bike made in Europe with Columbus Zona tubes. I also wanted it to be as original as possible, so that people who pass me would immediately recognize me (that explains the bright orange color). It took me a whole year to build this bike, it all started with the design on bikecad. Then there was the choice of parts, so I have the only groupset Camplagnolo record single chainring, I replaced all the bearings with ceramic bearings.
- My seat post and handlebars are carbon sworks.
- I have a ChrisKing headset.
- my saddle and mirror are from the BERTOUD brand
Once I succed the medecine school exam I bought customized wheels and a system to be self-sufficient in electricity, I have a front and rear headlight from son and a forumslader to charge my devices (he is a German geek who created this to be able to charge your devices with fast charging even when you are stopped). This entire system is powered by a son dynamo.
Key items of kit: I wanted the most optimized bags for my needs (I'm a psychopath for order and optimization). I learned to sew from my grandmother when I was younger, so I just took out my sewing machine. My bags are made of dynema, XPAC, parachute canvas and wake board sail.
- in the saddle bag I have SEA TO SUMMIT a “Reactor Extreme Sleeping Bag Liner”.
- in the wheel bag there is a very easy-to-access rain windbreaker.
- in the frame bag there is a bivi from SOL, my mattress, a spare shorts and a spare jersey?
- in the downtube container there is my repair equipment, my toiletry bag and my reflective vest.
- in my top tube bag there is a jacket, my arm warmers, my gloves for the cold, and a space for food.
- between my extensions bars there is a sort of aero food pouch which I will use to put all kinds of things (food, drinks)

Bike: I ride a Wilier GranTurismo SLR equipped with a SRAM Force Groupset. Gearing is 48/35 with a 10/36 cassette. The Wheelset is DT Swiss ERC 1400 35mm with 28/30mm P-Zero 4S tires. There is a SON 28 dynamo hub in the front to power a SON Edelux II and to charge my devices. The mount for the light is custom 3D-printed to fit under the garmin mount (thank you STRADE ARGOVIA:). As rear lights i use two battery powered b+m ixbacks. I use aerobars from Syntace and my saddle is an SQLabs 612.
Key items of kit: My bags come from Apidura. I use two bags only, the saddle bag is for clothes and tools and the frame bag for food and electronic devices. I got bottlecages from Restrap that open to the side to avoid hassle with the frame bag.

Bike: A custom Ti Terra Nova from Adam at Terra Cycling. Running 2x GRX that Shimano says won't work. Hunt wheels with big comfy 44mm WTB Byway tyres, tubeless. SON dynamo. Profile Racing aerobars, 5mm wolftooth bar tape. Shiny purple bits to pay homage to a bike my dad built me when I was a kid. Lots of stickers.
Key items of kit: Restrap handlebar bag, top tube bag and feed bags. Alpkit bag on the back. A custom frame bag from my friend Josh at Ashdown Bags. Tumbleweed Mini Pannier rack on the rear. Klite front light and USB charger running a SON rear light and 20k powerbank from the dynamo. Garmin Edge Explore 2. RAB bivvy, Alpkit sleeping bag, SeaToSummit inflatable mat. I plan on bivvying every night. Enough factor 50 to sink a ship and a bar of soap as a special treat. All tools are underneath the downtube to keep them separate, apart from a multi-tool and Gerber in my top tube bag Full change of clothes as I don't know how I'm getting home yet

Bike: Cube Nuroad C:62 SLT (2024)
Key items of kit: I prefer comfort over speed, which is why I've chosen my gravel bike with 38 mm low profile tires (the Rene Herse Barlow Endurance). The bike is equipped with the Sram Eagle XX1 AXS group set (40 T in front, 10-50 in the back). Other than that, it’s just another typical Apidura bikepacking setup mixed with the Cyclite Aero Bag. Since the size of my frame does not allow me to carry enough fluids, I will also be wearing the 3 L USWE hydration pack. My Supernova Airstream and Sigma Buster helmet light will guide me through the night. In the back I trust my Lupine Rotlicht Max as well as my Garmin Varia for busy roads attached to my saddlebag with the Cyclite Radar Mount.
