Age: 45
Location: United Kingdom
Bike: I'll be riding my Kinesis RTD, rolling on tubeless 35mm GP5000's. All pretty stock Ultegra apart from swapping out the crank for a GRX 30/46 and an 11/34 cassette, as I want a fighting chance of riding Zoncolan without having to walk. Power for gps/lights/phone all via two 20000mah fast charge battery packs and 65W charger. TT bars are a homemade arrangement to ensure correct height and allow hand placement to the bar tops.
Key items of kit: Carrying a lightweight sleep setup consisting of SOL bivvy bag, inflatable mattress and two arms cut from an old down jacket as leg warmer, plus a jacket which can be use for riding. Will be in hotels if its too cold! Everything packs into the 8lt saddle bag and frame bag shown. Plus setting off with plenty of free space on the bars for food and stuff I need through the day, in the way of three stem bags, since don't like having much in the jersey pockets. Cycle clothing all pretty standard stuff and only item extra item is a second pair of bib shorts.
I'll be shopping for normal clothes in Nice to travel back to the UK in.
