Bike: Sonder Colibri, Ti, with 105 11sp mechanical group, Hunt alloy rear, self-built SP Dyno/DT swiss alloy front. Groupset deviations for TP24: Senix gravel 46/30 chainset and HG 11-34 cassette to get me up the climbs! I've gone over to TPU tubes which saves a lot of weight. And a bell. I have a bell.
Key items of kit: Mix of bags from Topeak and Restrap, with a drybag under the aero bars for sleeping gear. I really like the zefal tool pod in the 3rd bottle position. It's going to be WET so there'll be mudguards going on ahead of setting out for this race. Luxury item: a little portable radio that doubles as a BT speaker (85g), for podcasts on the climbs.

I spend a lot of time in nature, I love mountain hiking and road biking. I have been to the Matterhorn, Dufourspitze, Mont Blanc and many other peaks in Europę. I spent the last two years on the Costa Blanca, living in Calpe and working in the Polish bicycle rental company www.costablanca.cc
My Cipollini carbon bike is on a Shimano Ultegra R8000 groupset and has rim brakes. The bike has carbon wheels with a 50mm profile and TUFO Hi Composite Carbon tubular wheels.
Bags:
- back 5L Geosmina with clothes and a wheel repair kit + lotion and a pump
- on frame Restrap 1,5L with food
- in frame Zefal 1,2L with food

Arnaud Freyburger
Age: 47
Cap number: 335
Location: Ingolstadt, Germany
Bike: I will ride a Sauvage bike (a small French company) with a titanium frame and carbon adventure fork. Shimano GRX mechanical groupset 2x11 with a SRAM 11-36 cassette to tackle the steepest climbs. Wheels with DUKE aluminium rims for reliability and a SON dynamo hub up front to power my BuM front and rear lights.
Key items of kit: It is not the lightest option but I will use my Tailfin at the rear for its stability (we will ride on rough roads for sure) and to be able to store some more food if needed. Race proven Miss Grape frame bags, just the right size for me. I will take my Busch & Müller front and rear lights (dynamo powered) and my helmet light from K-Lamp France. My sleep system will be minimalistic, with just a bivvy.
Greg Clarke
Age: 32
Cap number: 68
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Bike: Mason Definition 56
Perfect aluminium rig for the job. Quite light but reliable and comfy.
Zipp 303s, Shimano Ultegra di2 12s, 50-34 x 11-34. Schwalbe Pro One tubeless 32c, Supernova light,
Key items of kit: Trying to take a bit less on this trip due to the shorter length and the ridiculous amount of climbing. Have opted to even leave my beloved aero bars at home. I hope I don’t regret this. I’m using tried and tested Revelate bags and also an Apidura top tube bag, (not pictured).
Running a pretty light sleep set up with some thermals, a puffer jacket and an emergency foil bivvy. Not sure how much that will be used but I anticipate the Pyrenees will have the final say in that matter.
