Orbit360 Ride For A Reason

The Orbit360 #RideFAR Virtual Challenge

In their own words: Orbit360 wants the cycling community to get off the couch and on the bike, while supporting the cycling community worldwide. There is no entrance-fee to participate in the challenge, but riders can support with a donation of their choice. The money will be used to keep both the Orbit360 project alive and to support cycling related charity organizations: Bikeygees and Ghana Bamboo Bike Project. Our sponsor komoot will contribute to the good cause by proportionally matching every participant’s donation.

The challenge has already seen a lot of entries from the DotWatching community, putting in big early-season rides from around the world. Because this ‘race’ is hard to judge fairly, due to all of the rides taking place in different countries, climates, and even riding disciplines, Orbit360 is awarding prizes not only to the fastest completion of 360km, but also to the most creative rides and best stories.
