Adventure Syndicate Update #5

As Jenny makes her way ever-eastwards, we'll be bringing updates from the people behind the scenes of the attempt: The Adventure Syndicate.

  • Current location: Dubbo, Australia
  • Miles covered so far: 9,048
  • Estimated miles to go: 8,952

It's official - the halfway point of Jenny's around the world attempt has been reached, in an incredible 56 Days. It's an unbelievable achievement already, but now we can say that every pedal stroke will be taking her closer to home, rather than further away from it.

It's been a tough week for Jenny as she rips through southern Australia, with rain, sleet and snow really taking their toll - particularly on her feet. Temperatures are sitting at around 9 degrees during the day, but plummeting to 0 at night. Nonetheless, sightings of wild emu and cockatoos, along with the the evenetual reappearance of the sun and a tailwind, are helping to keep Jen's spirits up as she rolls towards the east coast, and New Zealand beyond it.

You can follow Jen's adventure here and use the hashtag #eastboundRTW
