Kromvojoj (Short) 2024 results

The third edition of Kromvojoj took place last May. This year, as a new feature, two new routes of different distances were presented: 1,385 km and 925 km. We also premiered new checkpoints through the Coll de Banyuls, Col du Portillon and Mont Caro, adding Penelles in the Redux route. A total of 68 riders took the start, 41 in the long distance and 27 in the Redux version. We had a 13% female participation, a great increase compared to previous editions. Our Sponsoreco scholarships managed to boost diversity in this sense with the participation of Aina Vila, Gundie Bunsenberga, Paula Soler and Silvia Molinero. They were joined in the scholarship program by Altaf Hussain, member and representative of the BAME community. Etienne Pousse and Molly Weaver achieved the best times, along with Nahuel Passerat and Clémence Vandergheynst in the shorter distance. The average was 4.5 days to complete the 1,385 km route and 3.5 days for the Redux version. On the seventh day we held the closing party, where we had the opportunity to share experiences, anecdotes and give a well-deserved closure to this new adventure.
